I have BSN Visa Electron debit card but Paypal refused to accept it so I might as well try Public Bank.
I have a silly question though. Do I have to open a bank account in Public Bank first before applying the debit card online?

Lau, about shop accept visa electron in Malaysia i think it hard to find one. Maybe u can suggest some online store that 100% accept visa electron without using paypal? Most merchant using paypal because it make your life easier.

I dont know if u’v updated bout affinbank debit card.. but i just wanna share this info… I have affinbank debit card but it cannot be use to verify paypal(maybe not yet).. but it can be use to buy somethin off the internet using paypal(i guarantee that). I got problem on getting expanded number thingy… on the monthly usage statement also didnt hav that number..so i cannot verify my paypal, called the CSC and they told me that they cant do a thing bout that number. Correct me if i’m wrong or u’v found a workaround… just wanna share my experience

I has call them and ask why i don’t get the debit card statement. they told me to get replacement card. what the fcuk. i really2 recomended malaysian to get public debit card. I really hope Affin bank CEO read this post and know how suck they are. GERAM tul….

I need some help here. I have NexG but i failed to verify my Paypal account. But admin said it can be 100% work to verify Paypal. So, anybody have any idea how to deal with it ? Or maybe I must top up my card over hundred ringgit? Mr. admin, is that true that Alliance debit card can be used to verify Paypal and purchase online? If can, I would like to apply.

hi edy, it should be work but you are not the first person failed to used it to verify paypal. Some people successful used it to verify paypal. Just to make sure, has you send the registration form that you get when buying NexG debit card?
For alliance debit card, i has used it for 3 year and everything is ok. but it has one major problem where you cannot withdraw the money inside the card. You can only used it to buy something.
For AFFINBANK Debit MasterCard, i has a problem with the card. i fail to verify my wife paypal account because i don’t get any statement from affin bank. But one of my reader don’t have any problem with affin debit card.
So, my conclusion is, it’s depend on your lucky.

i’ve already read few blog in the net regarding this Ambank NexG prepaid Mastercard and paypals.. and i also using it..for paypals issues.. there is no problem with Ambank.. all you guys need to do is.. call the csc for the 4 digit number for verified your paypal account from ur billing statement or if you guys using AmOnline statement…be sure to check it there.. that all i got from other people that using ambank prepaid mastercard..

Hi admin,
I have a question… can i verify paypal just with a US bank account?
Because I can’t add my US debit card since I signed up with Ecuador as country.
I did that because I heard that paypal verifies your adress and when they see it’s from a US mail forwarding company they freeze your account..
I don’t have a debit card from Ecuador, actually I am from Peru (but paypal for Perú can’t receive payments…)
So.. Can i verify paypal JUST with a US bank account?

I just verified my PayPal account using my AmBank NEXG Prepaid Master Card. Just want to ask something about EON Bank Group MOL Freedom MasterCard.
Does anyone had use it? I like to know is it better then my AmBank NEXG.
